tonight is date night/birthday celebration with my mr.

its my party

today is my birthday. a whole 23 years old today. 23 can be boring. if you let it be. but i imagine my birthday going a little something like this.

girls weekend, asheville nc

i spent this past weekend in asheville, nc with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law here is some of what we did :)

first of all, check out amazing view from the inn

amelia and i ate breakfast, both sat and sun, at city bakery cafe

i had a yummy fresh mint cappuccino and and irish cream cappuccino

for lunch we headed over to tupelo honey cafe

oh my lady

to die for

we waited about an hour for lunch but it was beyond worth it

check out our individual biscuits!

i had a yummy chicken and garden vegetable sandwich on sourdough bread (my fave)

we spent the rest of the day shopping and walking around the city

we also stopped by the chocolate fetish

there aren't any pics of my chocolate 

it didn't last very long!

my sweet hubby has a week full of little surprises for me....starting today :) when i came home from work he had a pile of gifts for me to choose from, but of course i couldn't choose. way to much pressure. so, i had him choose one for me. and this, my friends, is what i received:

if you have never heard her music, stop now and look her up. i love literally every song on this album.  she is blessed beyond belief with musical talent.

here is some black and white...

i saw this space today on simply grove. of course i'm a sucker for anything black and white....and the little touch of yellow makes my heart jump.

p.s. my husband just informed me it is my birthday week! little surprises everyday. now that makes my heart jump :)
